Preparatory Stage

Preparatory Stage: Grade III-V

The Primary stage of education is crucial for every child as it lays the groundwork for future learning and development. At K.R. Mangalam World School, we strive to cultivate skilled, confident learners who are inquisitive both in the classroom and beyond. Our approach addresses every aspect of a child’s growth—social, physical, emotional, cultural, and spiritual—alongside academics.

Our curriculum is designed based on the latest research and best practices from national and international systems. We maintain manageable class sizes and a healthy student-teacher ratio to support each child's development. Students work in dynamic groups, which fosters peer learning, exposes them to diverse perspectives, and enhances their listening and critical thinking skills. This approach encourages "out of the box" thinking, a vital skill for their future.

Our curriculum emphasizes foundational literacy and numeracy, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, counting, arithmetic, and mathematical thinking. We employ a continuous formative assessment system to monitor progress, personalize learning, and ensure each student’s needs are met. We understand that children at this stage are unique individuals with distinct abilities and interests, and we embrace their curiosity, imagination, and honesty in our teaching methods.
