The school ensures a comprehensive sports and fitness programme. Compulsory sports facility has been interwoven in the school calendar on daily routine. A variety of sports can be chosen from the array of choices that will be a part of the sports programmne. To inculcate the spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship in addition to a physical well-being we actively encourage sports.

The Sports activities play a pivotal role in enhancing elementary skills, and help children learn discipline, concentration, strategic thinking and leadership through the practice of sporting discipline. Students are trained by specialized Coaches in a sport of their interest.

Every student is allotted a house and inter -house competitions are held in almost all major games in the groups.

The school also plays regular inter school fixtures with other public schools of the region.

Splash Play

We create a playful learning environment where children take the lead and follow their curiosity and focus on high quality early childhood education. We are extending the Outdoor fun time and Splash play facilities to the students of classes Nur –V. in the presence of experienced coaches (lady coach for girls), a life-guard and an attendant.

Play Zone

Play area is a place designed to provide an environment for children that facilitates play, typically outdoors. It keeps the students entertained. Their smiles go wider as they enjoy the thrilled rides. These rides help students develop physical co-ordination, strength, flexibility as a well as providing recreation and enjoyment.

Skating

Skating classes teach the basic fundamentals of the sport of roller skating. We then utilize the basics to create art in motion in the form of a performance. Learning to skate develops confidence, self discipline and personal responsibility. Our coaches inspire the potential within you to surpass limitations and achieve success!

Outdoor Sports Games

At K.R.M, there is great emphasis on sports, as a medium to groom students in discipline, respect for the other, team spirit and team work. It is compulsory for each MANGALITE to participate in all sports activities which helps them in living a healthier life style.

KRMWS has proudly been the host for coveted tournaments every year, housing approximately 30-40 public school teams pan India. In addition to this sport at KRM serves as the training ground for aspiring State and National.

At the school level, a number of Inter–House Matches in basketball, hockey, football, cricket, swimming are a frequent occurrence. The other disciplines include Athletics, lawn tennis, Badminton, Squash and Table Tennis. Sports at KRM are supported by necessary infrastructure consisting of field space of 2 acres.

The sports staff is dedicated in recognizing the talent of budding sportsmen and training students to bring out the best in them. Sports activities are consists of Lawn Tennis,

Lawn Tennis

Lawn Tennis is fun, great for fitness and for developing fundamental movement skills and physical literacy of the students.

Basket Ball

Playing basket ball helps to improve motor coordination, flexibility and endurance. Basket ball encourages speed, agility, and strength. These skills are shown to have a positive effect on promoting a healthy body and encouraging more physical activity.

Cricket

Cricket brings other benefits and opportunities such as: team Skills, Social Skills, Cooperation Skills, learning- How to cope with winning and losing?

Badminton

Playing Badminton has many benefits. It provides an overall fitness to an individual; it helps in strengthening the muscle.

Football

Playing football is an excellent idea to improve your child’s play, especially permeability, which is about moving their arms and legs.

Shooting

With shooting lines, the school is equipped to handle a large number of shooting learners handled by trained professionals. Shooting sports is a group of competitive and recreational sporting activities involving proficiency tests of accuracy, precision and speed in shooting, using various types of ranged weapons.

Archery

Archery improves the focus and hand-eye co-ordination of the students.

Horse Riding

The School has a large arena for horse riding for our students and have the opportunities for the students to prove their mettle in the field have widened.

Throw Ball

Throwing, catching and kicking balls is good for muscle development, hand-eye coordination and fitness.

Volleyball

Playing volleyball strengthen the upper body, arms, shoulders, thighs, abdominals, and lower legs. In addition, volleyball improves hand-eye coordination, reflexes, and balance. Last but not least, volleyball teaches teamwork and communication and is a great social activity.

KHO – KHO

We encourage our students to play traditional Indian game that gives stamina and teaching them a good teamwork.

Taekwondo

Through learning taekwondo, students have good sense of self-esteem, knowledge of self- defence, heightened mental and physical well being.

Athletics

The school has a well laid out track for athletics which comprises of ATHLETICS- GREEN TRACK, ATHLETICS - SHOTPUT , ATHLETICS – DISCUSS & ATHLETICS – JAVELIN

Yoga can be the perfect addition to our curriculum as it helps children keep their minds calm and grow holistically.

Indoor Sports

We provides indoor games such as table Tennis, chess, carrom and ludo.It helps children learn discipline, concentration, strategic thinking.

It offers a range of resources to cater to the specific academic needs of our learners. It has a well selected collection of books, journals, periodicals, newspapers and audio-visual media.
