Celebrating the vibrant spirit of youth, the art of eloquence, and the beauty of tradition — from Swami Vivekananda’s profoundly inspiring vision to the enduring bond of Raksha Bandhan — the special assembly at K.R. Mangalam World School, KP-V proved to be a truly memorable day of learning, culture, and pride.
The school organised this grand and thought-provoking assembly on the occasion of International Youth Day and Swami Vivekananda Jayanti. Grade 9 students delivered a captivating programme that commenced with the iconic and soul-stirring speech of Swami Vivekananda at the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago. The performance beautifully and powerfully conveyed his timeless vision and noble ideals for the youth. This was followed by an engaging quiz and a thoughtful speech on International Youth Day, highlighting the purpose and deeper significance of celebrating Swami Vivekananda’s vision.
The day also featured the exciting and intellectually stimulating Hindi Aashu Bhashan Competition for Grades 6 and 7, where participants showcased their quick-witted thinking and fluent speaking skills with remarkable confidence.
On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the school was deeply honoured to have its esteemed Sanskrit faculty, Dr. Gaurav Joshi, address the assembly. He eloquently explained the profound meaning of Raksha Bandhan and its enduring relevance in today’s times. Following this, Principal Ma’am delivered an inspiring and heartfelt address, spreading awareness about the unique and timeless cultural value of Raksha Bandhan in Bharat’s rich heritage, and its significance in our contemporary society.
The event was a harmonious blend of cultural values, intellectual engagement, and heartfelt inspiration, leaving an everlasting impression on students and teachers alike.
