Cultivating Gratitude and Respect

At K.R. Mangalam World School, we strive to nurture values of empathy, respect, and appreciation for those who serve society selflessly. On the occasion of World Doctor’s Day, the school organised a series of engaging activities for students from Pre‑Nursery to Grade II. to help young learners understand the crucial role doctors play in our lives and to inspire them with stories of dedication and care.

Active Participation through Talk Show & Videos

The day’s highlight was a vibrant talk show where students expressed their thoughts on “Why doctors are important” and shared messages of thanks. They also watched thought‑provoking videos that told real-life stories of doctors, encouraging them to reflect on the values of empathy, service, and responsibility.

Exploring the Medical World – A Visit to the School Medical Room

A special highlight of the day was a guided visit to the school’s medical room for students from Pre‑Nursery to Grade II. Under the guidance of the school nurse, children were introduced to various medical apparatus and tools used by doctors – such as stethoscopes, thermometers, blood pressure monitors, and first-aid equipment. This hands‑on exposure helped them connect classroom learning with real-world healthcare practices.

Encouraging Appreciation for the Medical Fraternity

The celebration concluded with students expressing heartfelt respect for the medical profession. The session inspired them to value the role of healthcare in our lives and to carry forward the spirit of care and kindness in their own actions.
